X-Rite i1 - Will not calibrate
Problem/Question
When I try to calibrate my X-Rite i1 the calibration fails.
Solution/Workaround
There are a few things that can cause the calibration to fail
Here are some things to check
- Make sure the white tile on the X-Rite base is exposed, to do this slide the cover to expose the white calibration patch
- Clean the white tile so it isn't dirty, this can give a bad reading for calibration
- Double check that the X-Rite device is fully seated on the calibration base
If you have checked these things and the calibration still fails the device might be faulty or need service.
