How to permanently enable the SwatchBook mangement dialog

Problem/Question

When using the SwatchBook tool for Color Replacement, the dialog opens in a reduced view with only basic features. This ensures that existing color standards are not changed during ongoing production.
There are reasons why the extended view with all available options is required permanently so you may ask yourself "How do I switch views?" or "How can I always work with all SwatchBook features?".

Solution / Workaround

  1. Start the JobComposer.

  2. In the top menu, click "Tools" > "Application Defaults".

  3. Open "User Preferences" under the "Application" section.

  4. Move to "Color" Feature.

  5. Enable "Use SwatchBook management dialog".

After restarting JobComposer, the SwatchBook dialog will be displayed in the extended view with all available features.
