Extra Channel Integration for Support of Special Inks:
The Extra Channel feature is now fully integrated into the Separation Job tool, allowing automatic generation of high-quality separations for special ink layers, such as white, pretreatment, or clear coatings for hybrid and traditional printing, no manual artwork preparation required. Further supported by:
- Smarter Extra Channel Handling for PSD and TIFF: Custom channel names are now recognized, streamlining workflows for special ink layers.
Substrate-Aware Color Conversion with Background Color Removal:
The Background Color Removal (BCR) – feature-pioneering in its category – is now fully compatible with Separation Jobs. It intelligently adapts separations to the substrate color and can automatically generate a matching white layer if needed. By integrating the substrate color directly into the CMM's color processing – rather than simply knocking it out – BCR reduces ink usage, boosts color vibrancy, and enhances tactile print quality.
Revamped User Interface for Separation Job
This UI has undergone a comprehensive redesign, introducing:
- Dynamic grid controls enhance data interaction.
- Advanced curve editing tools for greater precision and usability.
- Resizable dialogs for improved layout adaptability.

Flexible Density Management:
Export density linearization data in a new text-based format compatible with external systems and Ergosoft’s Dot Gain import. This enables smoother calibration and better integration with third-party tools.
Dot Gain Curve Import:
Easily import density correction curves to generate Dot Gain Curves, with flexible downsampling options for fine-tuning and precision control.
Advanced Screening Control:
Autotype screening (AM) now dynamically adjusts dot size selection based on Print Environment settings, giving users more control over ink usage and print quality.
