Problem/Question
How to create a Windows Printer Port?

Solution/Work-Around
Please notice that not all printer models do support Windows Printer port
  1. Select <Manage> under "Queues" in the Ergosoft ControlCenter
  2. Choose the client to which you want to add the port or add a new client.
    Adding a new client, the printer driver has to be defined first
  3. Click <add port> in Edit Printer Port Settings
  4. Select “Windows Printer” from the list an click <Ok>
  5. In the next dialog click <Add TCP/IP Port…>
  6. Click <Add Port…> again in the next dialog
    This will bring up the Windows Installation Wizard to configure your Port.
  7. Click <Next> and enter the IP Address of the printer and an unique name for the Windows printer
  8. Select the Device Type and click on <Next> again
  9. Review the settings and click <Finish>
    This will automatically bring you back to the “Create New Windows TCP/IP Printer” dialog. 
  10. Make sure the Port you just created is selected and enter a name if necessary, then click <Create Printer>
  11. Confirm the next two dialogs with <Ok> to get back to the “Port Settings” dialog.
  12. Enter a spool folder if you want to use the Port with a PrintQueue and confirm again with <Ok> to complete the process
