Use Epson USB port

Problem/Question

How is an Epson USB Port added to the Print Environment? Since there is no Option for it when adding a new Port.

Solution/Work-Around

As Epson USB does not have its own interface between the Ergosoft RIP and printer, a Windows Printer Port must be used in order to connect the computer to the printer via USB.

Simply set up the Epson USB printer under Windows just as you would install any other printer (In System Settings/Printers and Devices).
Open the Print Environment settigns
At “Output Device” click <New>
Then <Add Port>
Select “Windows Printer”
Select the Epson USB printer you just installed
Confirm the dialog to add it as a Port to the Print Environment
