Problem/Question
When you try to start the ControlCenter nothing happens at all even after a restart.
A certain component or module is crashing while starting.
Possible reason are:
- Administrative access to folders and Windows O.S. functions.
- Registry Write access
- Anti-virus, Anti-malware or other Security Software installed.
When the cause cannot be clearly identified, the best way to solve the problem is to do a cleanup, update and re-installation.
Solution/Work-Around
1. Clean any unnecessary files
- Start "Maintenance Tool"
Windows > Start > Programs > Ergosoft > Maintenance tool > Troubleshooting - Execute ShutDown all RIP components
- Execute Empty snapshot folder list
- Execute Delete all temporary raster files
- User Folder manual Cleanup
- Delete all the files under [HD:\User Data Folder\... ] \Files\SnapRO
- Delete all the files under [HD:\User Data Folder\... ] \Files\TEMP (requires a RIP shutdown)
- Delete all unnecessary jobs under PrintClient or JobCenter
- Keep the JobTickets folder ([HD:\User Data Folder\... ] \Data\JobTickets) small.
