Two dongles on one PC

Problem/Question

Having Ergosoft licenses on several CmContainers (CmDongle/CmAct) you might wonder if you can access all licenses at the same time.

Example

Dongle-bound container with the Ergosoft JobComposer license
Dongle-bound container with a specific printer driver license
PC-bound CmAct container with the Delta Automations Suite license

Solution/Work-Around

While using licenses from different dongles sometimes work, it certainly won't work having two types of CmContainers (CmDongle/CmAct). We generally do not recommend to plug more than one Dongle. If two dongles are plugged into one PC, it is not guaranteed that Ergosoft can find all of the needed licenses. Error messages like "License count exceeded." or even "Dongle not found" may appear.
