Spot color is printed even though the Job Cut Settings are set to prevent this
Problem/Question
In some workflows, the option “Do not print this spot color” in Job
Cut Settings does not work as expected. Even though the option is enabled, the spot color is still printed instead of being suppressed during printing.
Solution/Work-Around
This behavior can occur when the name of the Cut Environment contains special characters, specifically "&" or "+". To ensure that “Do not print this spot color” works correctly, avoid using special characters in the name of the Cut Environment. Use a simple alphanumeric name instead, for example
- Cut
- ContourCut
- Cut_Line
This ensures reliable functionality.
