Sequoia Dongle move

Problem/Question

If you change PCs or have other problems with the dongle server it may be necessary to move the dongle to another PC within the Sequoia system.

"How can the Sequoia dongle be replugged without changing the Master/Client configuration?"

The Sequoia dongle should be changed on another PC in the Sequoia system.

Solution/Work-Around

Close the Sequoia master and all Sequoia workstations completely
Plug the dongle onto the other Sequoia PC
Start the Ergosoft ControlCenter on this station
Select the tab "Tools"
Click the <MaintenanceTool> button
Switch to the tab "Troubleshooting"
Click on "CodeMeter dongle network configuration"
Select "CodeMeter dongle is plugged into this PC"
Click on the button <Finished>

Note: After the dongle has been moved to another Sequoia PC, you must assign the new Dongle location on all other Sequoia PCs. To do this, follow the above instructions on these PCs up to point 7. At point 8. select "CodeMeter dongle is plugged into a different PC" and follow the further instructions (see "Articles in the Document Portal")
