Problem/Question
When generating the preview, the message "Server is busy" appears, and the preview is no longer displayed in the JobComposer.
The cause is usually a timeout when updating the preview due to too many temporary files.
Solution/Work-Around
Clean any unnecessary files
- Open Ergosoft ControlCenter
- Select the tab "Tools"
- Open <Maintenance Tool>
- Select the tab"Troubleshooting"
- Execute "Shut down all RIP components"
- Execute "Delete all temporary raster files"
Other useful hints:
- Execute "Empty " from the Maintenance Tool
- Execute "Register COM Interfaces" from the Maintenance Tool
- Execute "Delete all snapshots" in the Job Composer menu "Tools > Application Defaults" in the tab "Snapshots"
Automatic Cleanup
The latest version of Ergosoft comes with the System Guard. This tool automatically deletes no longer needed temporary files based on custom settings.
