Previews not generated

Problem/Question
When generating the preview, the message "Server is busy" appears and the preview is no longer displayed in the JobComposer.

The cause is usually a timeout when updating the preview due to too many (temporary) files.

Solution/Work-Around

Clean any unnecessary files
  1. Open Ergosoft ControlCenter
  2. Select the tab "Tools"
  3. Open <Maintenance Tool>
  4. Select the tab"Troubleshooting"
  5. Execute "Shut down all RIP components"
  6. Execute "Delete all temporary raster files"
Other useful hints:
  1. Execute "Register COM Interfaces" from the Maintenance Tool
  2. Execute "Delete all snapshots" in the Job Composer menu "Tools > Application Defaults" in tab "Snapshots"
User Folder manual Cleanup
  1. Delete all the files under C:\Users\Public\Documents\EsRip\15\Files\SnapRO
  2. Delete all the files under C:\Users\Public\Documents\EsRip\15\Files\TEMP (requires a RIP shutdown)
  3. Delete all unnecessary jobs under PrintClient or JobCenter
  4. Keep the JobTickets folder (C:\Users\Public\Documents\EsRip\15\Data\JobTickets) small.
This is not necessary in version 16 since you can manage all temporary files with SystemGuard.
