Offline license activation

Problem/Question
You want to activate your license, but your RIP PC is not connected to the Internet.

In this case you can use the offline activation option.

Solution/Work-Around
Step 1: Export the WibuCmRaC file (RIP PC whitout Internet access)
  1. Open "CodeMeter Control Center" (CmContainer-Icon  ) from the tray/taskbar
  2. Click on <License Update>
  3. Follow the instruction of the "CmFAS Assistant"
  4. Select "Create license request" and click <Next>
  5. Select "Extend existing license" and click <Next>
  6. Choose the vendor "Producername" *1
  7. Save the *.WibuCmRaC file
  8. Click <Commit> to close the "CmFAS Assistant"
*1  Note: make sure that in Point 6. the Firm Code 103012 is in brackets. If not go back and choose "Add license of a new producer". Enter the Firme Code 103012 manually by request.

Step 2: Upload Request (any PC with Internet access)
  1. Follow the link of the license ticket you have received by mail
  2. Follow the instructions from the "CodeMeter License Central WebDepot" page
  3. Click <Browse> and select the saved *.WibuCmRaC file
  4. Click <Upload Request And Continue Now> *2
  5. When uploading the request is finished, click <Download License Upate File Now>
  6. Save the *.WibuCmRaU file *3
  7. Click <Next> *4
*2  Note: when you get the Error 0x1808000D the *.WibuCmRaC file is not created with the Firm Code 103012.
*3  Note: don´t open this file
*4  Note: don´t close the browser window

Step 3: Transfer the WibuCmRaC file (RIP PC whitout Internet access)
  1. Open "CodeMeter Control Center" (CmContainer-Icon  ) from the tray/taskbar
  2. Click <License Update>
  3. Follow the instruction of the "CmFAS Assistant"
  4. Choose <Import license update> and select the *.WibuCmRaU file
  5. Click <Apply>
  6. Click "here" to execute following Step 4
Step 4: Create Receipt (RIP PC without Internet access)
  1. Choose a filename for the license receipt file *.WibuCmRaC
  2. Save the *.WibuCmRaC receipt file
  3. Click <Commit>
Step 5: Upload Receipt (any PC with Internet access)
  1. Select the open "CodeMeter License Central WebDepot" page *5
  2. Click <Browse>
  3. Select the saved *.WibuCmRaC receipt file
  4. Click <Upload Receipt Now>
  5. Click <Ok> if license transfer was successful
*5  Note: if not open, click on the license ticket
