Job Preflight

Creates a Preflight of any printed job according to the set parameters. Preflight files are stored in C:\Users\Public\Documents\EsRip\16\Data\Preflight.

To access the Preflight, make sure no image in the Job is selected, then go to the Properties & Actions Pane on the right side of the JobComposer Workspace and select Job Preflight.

Mode
Mode sets how the preflight should be created. Select from one of the following options:
  1. RGB Html: Creates an RGB Image file for the preflight and embeds it into an HTML file containing information about the printout.
  2. Separated Html: Creates channel separated Image file for the preflight and embeds it into an HTML file containing information about the printout.
  3. RGB Tiff: Creates an RGB Tiff file for the preflight and stores it in the default folder.
  4. Device Tiff: Creates a Tiff file in the printers color model for the preflight and stores it in the default folder.
  5. Print: Prints a smaller version of the job to the printer specified in the PrintEnv setting.
  6. Print Original size: Prints an original size version of the job to the printer specified in the PrintEnv setting.

Copies and Media Settings... Lets you set a number of copies and Gap mode for the preflight as well as select a material type to display on the preflight.

Click the Render... button to execute the preflight according to the set parameters. HTML Preflights will automatically open in your standard webbrowser. Tiff Preflights are stored in the default preflight folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\EsRip\17\Data\Preflight. Print preflights are directly sent to the currently selected Print Environment/Printer.

Click View HTML Preflights to open a browser window and list the available HTML Preflights that have previously been generated. This allows you to easily access your preflight history at any moment.
