Image Import

Image Import

Adds images from an accessible location on your Harddisk, Removable drive or network to the current Job. The import dialog also allows to set multiple parameters for the image import so you need fewer editing steps and less manual work preparing the image for print.

Importing images can be done from multiple locations in the ErgoSoft RIP:

From the Toolbar by clicking on the Icon ...

Right Click on an empty area in the Job and select Import Images... from the context menu

From the program menu, select File > Import Image...

These actions will all call up the Import Image dialog. From here you can navigate to the location of the image you want to import and select it. Multiple Images can be selected by dragging a selection frame into the window, or by holding either Shift and clicking on two image files to select these two files and all files in between, or holding Ctrl and selecting several images to select individual images.

Import each image into a separate Job: Creates a new Job for each selected image upon import.

Import all pages of multipage files: In files containing multiple pages such as multipage PDFs, the RIP will automatically import all pages in the document. If this is deactivated, importing a multi page file will bring up a prompt asking which pages should be imported.
