How to use Summa F-Series Cutters?

To use the Summa F-Series Cutters, you should follow the normal Ergosoft procedure for cutting.
It just need special attention regarding the Driver mode you want to use.
Please, see below the different options available.
  1. Summa F-Series - Standard driver
  2. Summa F-Series POSTNET- Use the POSTNET barcode
When using Summa F-Series and Postnet drivers, the option for "Cutting Tool" can be select from a default list.
  1. Summa F-Series Go Produce - Use the GoProduce software
For the Summa F-Series GoProduce, the "Cutting Tool" list needs to be loaded.
To load such a list into your system, you need to upload the "Material List" into your Cut Environment.
Please follow the steps below:
  1. Select your Cut Environment
  2. Open the Cut Settings
  3. Select the "Device Options" tab
  4. Select "Use Material XML"
  5. "Setup" and "Browse" for the file
  6. Click "OK"
  7. Now a list should be visible in your Cut Environment
  8. Click "OK" to close and save the Cut Environment
Now when opening the "Cutting Tool" tab, you should be able to select the Media and Method.
