How to recover the original default Print Mark presets
Problem/Question
Starting with release 17.6 in Winter 2025, we are introducing updated Print Mark
presets. The default presets included with new RIP installations have been extended and revised for a better functionality and user experience.
Still, there may be situations where you prefer to keep working with your familiar presets. Perhaps you've accidently deleted or changed one, so you're wondering, “How do I get them back?”.
Solution/Work-Around
- Visit Ergosoft Customer Portal.
- Navigate to "Download" section.
- Click on the "Additional Resources" tag and download "Print_Marks_Presets_defaults".
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Click on the "RIP & Programs" tab in Ergosoft ControlCenter and open the "System Information".

- Open the folder listed below "User Dir".
- Close the Ergosoft ControlCenter.
- Continue working with familiar presets: drag & drop the contents of "legacy_V17.5 and older" folder into "Data\Settings" folder of User data folder opened in step 6.
Accidently deleted or changed one: drag & drop the contents outside the "legacy_V17.5 and older" folder into "Data\Settings" folder of User data folder opened in step 6.
