How to get a precise custom (white) space/margin/distance between copies

Problem/Question

You are printing multiple copies of a job and would like to adjust the spacing between the copies. You notice that when you send copies in “With Gap” print mode, a gap is created between the copies, but it is always the same size. So you're wondering, “How do I set a space/margin/distance between copies?”

Solution/Work-Around

Ergosoft offers a wide range of flexible implementation options. The methods outlined below are based on the “Without Gap – Repeat Print Marks” print mode, which serves as the foundation for the workflows described.
  1. Define a Top margin within the "Job Margin" settings.
  2. Set an image Top position to push the image downward and generate spacing.
  3. Go to "Image Margin" and add either a top or a bottom image margin.
  4. Use the "Image AddOns" "Solid Frame" to add a top or bottom margin.
