How to Find Your Container ID

Applies to: Ergosoft RIP 17.6.2 and later

Use this when:
  • You need your Container ID for licensing or support
  • You are asked to provide your Container ID by Ergosoft Support
  • You want to verify your license container information

Problem / Question

You need to find your Container ID but don’t know where to locate it in Ergosoft RIP or your system.

Solution / Work-Around

Option 1: From Ergosoft RIP (Version 17.6.2 or later)

  1. Open Ergosoft RIP
  2. Navigate to Help
  3. Click About
  4. Locate the Container ID in the displayed information

Option 2: Using CodeMeter Control Center

  1. Go to your system tray (bottom-right corner of Windows)
  2. Open CodeMeter Control Center
  3. Locate your license container
  4. The Container ID is displayed there

This method works for both:

  • Dongle-based licenses
  • Software-based (dongle-free) licenses
