How to Customize and Save Your Workspace in Ergosoft RIP

Applies to: Ergosoft RIP

Use this when:

  • You want a cleaner, more focused workspace
  • You want to hide unused options in panels
  • You want to save a customized workspace layout

Problem / Question

The workspace contains too many options, making it harder to focus on your daily workflow.

Solution / Work-Around

Enable Workspace Editing

  1. Open Ergosoft RIP
  2. Navigate to View
  3. Select Workspaces
  4. Enable Workspace Change

Customize Your Workspace

  1. Look at the Properties and Actions panels
  2. Uncheck options you do not use
  3. Keep only the tools relevant to your workflow

You can also:

  • Select an image to see additional options
  • Enable or disable these options as needed

Apply the Changes

  1. Go to View → Workspaces
  2. Disable Workspace Change

All unchecked options are now hidden, resulting in a cleaner interface.

Save Your Workspace

  1. Navigate to View → Workspaces
  2. Click Save

Your customized workspace will now load automatically when restarting the software.

Q: Can I restore hidden options later?
A: Yes, re-enable Workspace Change and check the options again.

Q: Does this affect functionality?
A: No, it only changes visibility, not functionality.
