How to create a new Color Profile based on an existing measurement

How to create a new Color Profile based on an existing measurement

Problem/Question

You successfully went through the profiling process with ColorGPS but still want to tweak your ICC without the need to re-measure?

Solution/Work-Around

ColorGPS automatically saves the session (.cpd) so you can generate many profiles with different settings out of a single measurement. Here's how you can do a second ICC:
  1. Copy the existing PrintEnvironment
(backup so that you can keep the original state)
  2. Open the ColorGPS tool
  3. Import the measured values by using one of the following options
    1. Click on the "File" tab and select the measurement that matches the PrintEnvironment from the list below Description entry
    2. Go to "File > Open" and navigate to the User Data folder
      1. Go to "Data > Color > ColorCali" and select the measurement that matches the PrintEnvironment
  4. Now you can change various settings under Options and create a new Color Profile.
