Problem/Question
You successfully went through the profiling process with ColorGPS but still want to tweak your ICC without the need to re-measure?
Solution/Work-Around
ColorGPS automatically saves the session (.cpd) so you can generate many profiles with different settings out of a single measurement. Here's how you can do a second ICC:
- Copy the existing PrintEnvironment
(backup so that you can keep the original state)
- Open the ColorGPS tool
- Import the measured values by using one of the following options
- Click on the "File" tab and select the measurement that matches the PrintEnvironment from the list below Description entry
- Go to "File > Open" and navigate to the User Data folder
- Go to "Data > Color > ColorCali" and select the measurement that matches the PrintEnvironment
- Now you can change various settings under Options and create a new Color Profile.
