How to create a Job Package

How to create a Job Package

Problem/Question

One might want to preserve a certain Ergosoft job whether to back it up or to send it over to another Ergosoft station to be processed. Together with the JobComposer file (.ppj) the Ergosoft Package Job feature collects all needed files and settings and stores them in a folder.

"How can a Job package be created?"

Solution/Work-Around

Once you have made all the necessary settings and selected the Print (and Cut) Environment, proceed as follows:

  1. In the JobComposer, select "Package Job" under "File".
  2. Activate/deactivate the relevant files and settings.

(Consider Input Profiles will increase the size by about 40MB.)
  3. Click <Ok>.
  4. Select the storage location for the Job Package.

Open a packaged job

  1. Import Print/Cut Environment and Presets.
  2. Double-klick the JobComposer file (.ppj)
(If asked for image files, navigate to the "Links" folder in your Job Package.)
