The unit of measure (e.g. centimeters or inches) in Ergosoft RIP does not match your requirements.
Solution / Work-Around
Change the Unit of Measure

Open Ergosoft RIP
-
Navigate to Tools
-
Select Application Defaults
-
Open the Display section
-
Change the Unit of Measure to your preferred unit (e.g. centimeters or inches)
Apply the Changes
After changing the unit:
-
Open a new job to apply the change
-
Restart the PrintQueue to ensure consistency

Q: Why doesn’t the unit change immediately?
A: Existing jobs and active queues retain their settings. The change only applies to new jobs and after restarting the PrintQueue.
Q: Where can I see the unit of measure?
A: It is visible in elements such as the job ruler.
Q: Can I switch units at any time?
A: Yes, you can change the unit of measure whenever needed.
