How to add Fonts to Ergosoft RIP

How to add Fonts to Ergosoft RIP

Problem/Question
For several reasons it might apply to install fonts for Ergosoft RIP. Especially when using PDF not heaving the fonts embedded or if one is working with the Variable Data feature it is necessary to add fonts.

Solution/Work-Around
Fonts installed on Windows are automatically available in Ergosoft. For successful use, two conditions must be met:
  1. The fonts must be real TrueType fonts (TTF or OTF)
  2. The fonts need to be installed "for all users".

Install a font for all users
  1. Select the font file you want to install
  2. Open context menu (right click)
  3. Select "Install for all users"
(do not just double-click to the font file)
