Graphtec XPF Sequential Segment - Cut marks are not read correctly or cutting shifts occur

Problem/Question

When using a e.g. Graphtec CE7000 or FC9000 cutting plotter with a Cut Environment based on the “XPF Sequential Segment” driver, you may observe that Cut marks are not read correctly. This can cause misalignment or visible cutting shifts. So you`re wondering, "What can I do?".
