Error 0x18080015 License transfer not possible

Problem/Question
When trying to activate the license ticket online you receive an error message:

“Error 0x18080015 License transfer not possible-
A license transfer is not possible with the selected CmContainer
Please contact support services to unlock this CmContainer"

This error message can come up after trying to activate a license with a very old firmware and the dongle got locked.

Solution/Work-Around
Please submit a ticket with the following information:
  1. Support data ZIP file
  2. Dongle number
  3. Screenshot of the error message
