Duplicate, Rearrange, Center, and Overlay

Duplicate

Creates duplicates of the selected image and optionally aligns them on a grid.

Select the image and press Ctrl+D or use Right Click > Duplicate... on the image to bring up the Duplicate menu. To simply add multiple duplicates of the image to the job, set the number of copies in the Count field.

Activate the Grid checkbox to automatically arrange the copies in a custom grid. Checking the box will show the grid options to customize the arrangement.

Horizontal/Vertical Count: Sets the number of copies in horizontal/vertical direction.

Horizontal/Vertical Distance: Sets the distance between individual copies on the grid.

Fill: Lets you fill the Job with copies of the image by setting a maximum vertical distance to be filled (Horizontal width is always used fully). The duplicate function will automatically create the number of copies needed to reach maximum length as closely as possible.

Allow Rotation: When activated, the Duplicate function will automatically use rotation to fit more images onto the Job area.

Rearrange

Arranges the selected images in the Job to be placed next to each other, while keeping the order the appear in the Job. Note that Rearrange does not nest the images to save media, it merely arranges them next to each other and aligns them at the top of the Job.

Select the images to arrange and press Ctrl+Alt+A or use Right Click > ReArrange on the selected images or use the ReArrange Icon in the Toolbar.

Center

Centers the selected images in the Job horizontally. If only a single image is selected, it will be centered in the middle of the media width. If multiple images are selected, the selected images will be treated as a fixed group and centered while keeping their distance to each other.

Select the image(s) to Center and press Alt+C or use Right Click > Center on the selected images.

Overlay

Allows you to move two images on top of each other. Overlayed images are combined into a single image and treated as such in the Job window. Transparencies are honored when using Overlay, allowing for a multitude of practical applications.

Activate Overlay mode by clicking on the Overlay Mode Icon in the Toolbar, then drag and drop one image on top of the other. Alternatively, Press and hold the Alt key, then drag and drop one image on top of the other.

Separating Overlayed images

When two images are overlayed they are treated as a single image. In order to split the two images into two again, use Right Click > Split Overlay on the combined image. This will separate the images so they can be manipulated individually again.
