Deterioration in print quality after an ink changeover

Problem/Question

A deterioration in print quality is detected after an ink changeover. How can the print quality be restored?

Solution/Work-Around

Copy the PrintEnvironment used before the ink changeover and name it differently.
Remove the embedded Density Linearization and Color Profile.
Carry out a new Density Linearization in the same way as before the ink changeover.
(same geometry, same measurement device, same number of patches)
Important: In the last step, complete Linearization without limiting curves!
Open the ColorEqualizer tool.
Select "Copy Target Density".
On top, select the PrintEnvironment used before the ink changeover.
In the bottom field, select the new PrintEnvironment.
Click on the "Copy Target Density" button to create a new PrintEnvironment with the same name as defined in step 1.
(PE name will be supplemented by the suffix _equalized.)
Open the ColorEqualizer tool and select "Copy Printer Profile".
On top, select the PrintEnvironment used before the ink changeover.
In the bottom field, select the new PrintEnvironment created in step 7.
Click on the "Copy Printer Profile" button to create a new PrintEnvironment with the same name as defined in step 1
(PE name will be supplemented by the suffix _equalized twice.)
Do a test print by using the PrintEnvironment created in previous step.

The quality should now be adapted to the existing output (before the ink change).
