The media consumption on the JobTicket shows only the media lenght
“How can I switch to square meters?"
If width (and length) of the loaded media are not set in the PrintQueue, the job dimensions are used to calculate the media consumptions instead automatically.
Solution/Work-Around
Go to the PrintQueue of the Print Environment in use
Set it to <Offline>
Enter the media width manually, or
Click the <Refresh> Button in the media field (if the printer supports it)
