[AE=1506] PRINT ERROR #-3

Problem/Question

When printing, the rasterizing process stops and the RIPServer shows an error message that says:

“[AE=1506]:PRINT ERROR #-3"

This error can be found when trying to RIP a file in RipServer.

Solution/Work-Around

Check the user access rights of the Raster- and Spool folder

Note: Print environments that use a file interface for data output, they also check the user access rights of the output path

Check where the folders are located (local, network or external hard disk)

Note: The error is usually caused by the folders being placed on network drives with an unstable connection to the computer. It is recommended to set up the path for these folders on a local hard disk.
